Everything, released on 5.16.12, is JUNO’s 3rd single.
「Everything」 is an upbeat electronica beat as Junho sings in a slightly hoarse, low voice. The lyrics are quick paced as he sings into the bridge, where he slows down a little, before going into an energetic chorus. His vocals sound a little bit strained, but I wonder if that has to do more with his voice than his actual singing ability… Anyway, in the third verse, there’s some autotune added, but besides that, the song doesn’t change very much.
The next song is 「Triangle Love」 which starts with some consecutive electronica/synthesizer beats as Junho whispers, “why?” The song is slightly melancholic as Junho sings in the same fashion, his vocals carrying a sense of longing. Judging by the title, this is probably about a love triangle… maybe. It’s kinda like a R&B midtempo ballad.
A PV was made for Everything. Junho magically appears on a boardwalk and sees a girl who has lost her balloon. I’m guessing he’s a magician or something because he stops time and makes a bouquet of balloons appear and gives it to the girl then resumes time. He does this to a couple other people, helping them along the way. Seems like people can’t seem him either, because there’s a scene in the PV when he blows bubbles next to a girl without stopping time and she doesn’t see him.
This single is okay, nothing really special about it. I was kinda hoping for something a little different from JUNO, but he seems to be going with the current jpop electronica trends.
